Are Ginsu Knives sharp enough to cut through human bone?

Question: They work on tin cans, hamsters, and even Tonka-tuff trucks but I haven't had the chance to chop off my own foot. Will these knives do the trick? Also, is Taxidermy worth the price and time?

Answer: Well, sweetie, I'm not sure a Ginsu knife is what one would want to "chop off" anything, as they have the serrated blade, which has been used and demonstrated to cut thru BRICKS, and then, slice a tomato, as thin as one would require. It would be a sawing motion, not a chop. If you're planning on sawing thru a limb, and later serving tomatoes, or other food, I'd suggest doing the food thing first. The other thing I would mention, is that although the blade of the Ginsu is very good, apparently the weak point is in the handle, that may not hold up. Hey- good luck with your plans- you'd have to check with your local Taxidermy prices- they're different all over :)
