Question: I just bought a wii and have no idea how to download games onto it...i have DSL so i cant do it the wireless way... my friend says i need a wii LAN adaptor but i have no idea wat that is or if it will even help
Answer: You will either need an LAN adaptor or a USB adaptor. What are those? Ok, the LAN adaptor connects to the Wii via one of its USB ports. You will then need a FireWire cable to connect the LAN adaptor to your internet. To do that, you would either have to unplug the cord from your computer, or get some sort of a router. ...it gets really confusing. The USB adaptor plugs into one of your computer's USB ports and converts your wired internet into wireless. Then you should be good to go without needing the LAN adaptor. I personnaly think that this way is easier, but only if you have a PC. These adaptors will only work with a PC, not Mac. Hope I helped.
